MSC ACCOUNTING
The course is designed for fully qualified accountants who are keen to update and enhance their knowledge and career prospects. The course will provide a technical refresher, but also goes further in developing core skills to enable you to fully achieve your potential in the wider world of business.
This course is truly international. Wherever in the world you are based you can engage with a global community of students and have access to tutors based in the UK. The course is delivered primarily through distance learning, meaning that you are able to work at the same time as gaining an internationally recognised qualification. As part of the course you will be given the opportunity to undertake a short period of study in Leeds enabling you to network with fellow professionals from around the world.
This course is available for weekend study. For more details please visit our weekend study information page.
In order to study via this route, you must have passed or been granted exemption from ACCA papers F1 to F9. You will complete your professional papers (3 core papers and 2 options) and also complete academic modules, including a dissertation in order to be awarded the MSc Accounting.
This course is challenging and academically rigorous, but the rewards are well worth the effort. The course maximises the career flexibility available to the aspiring accountant and opens opportunities to go into accountancy practice, audit, tax, academia or enterprise.

You will be assessed on one piece of coursework, which allows you to focus on an element of
the course that is of particular interest and relevance to your professional practice.
