About Your Course
The key feature of this course is to help coaches understand quickly and effectively the development needs of their key people. It will equip you with a tool kit of techniques to coach individuals through a wide range of personal performance issues, enabling you to build a proactive learning and performance culture within any organisation.
Our programme provides a supportive environment to help you critically evaluate and internalise group and individual supervision intervention. It blends theory and practice to facilitate the creation and maintenance of professional supervisory relationships in your work.
This course is the first stage of a three-part programme which includes the PG Diplomas in Coaching Psychology or Coaching Supervision and our MA Executive & Business Coaching.

The course is aimed at practicing business coaches seeking to enhance their coaching methodology and skills; HR Directors and training consultants; those with line management responsibility; executives wishing to add coaching to their consultancy portfolio; and aspiring coaches from backgrounds such as counselling, psychotherapy, teaching and business psychology.

The module helps you to enhance your reflective practice skills, gaining a clear appreciation of the diverse forces and inputs impacting on the development of a successful executive and business coaching career.

This module helps you to gain a greater understanding of differing roles and forms of specific coaching intervention for the practitioner in the workplace and through critical reflection gain a clearer understanding of challenges and dilemmas confronting executive and business coaches.

Assessment
All assessment is by reflective log and assignments where you will be challenged to critically evaluate your own performance and to enhance your professional practice.
Teaching & Learning
All modules are run in highly participative and practical workshops and throughout you will find that we develop a strong learning culture within the group. There will be some formal teaching, but much of the learning will be experiential and case-based and therefore we invite you to share your experience and learn from your own practice and from the experience of other members of the group.

Recent research conducted by the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development suggested that 80% of all UK respondents stated they were utilising coaching in their organisation. Equivalent or Lower Qualification (ELQ) Students
Higher fees apply for ELQ students. You may be an ELQ student if you already have a BA/BSc and want to enrol on another
Bachelors level course; if you already have an MA/MSc and want to enrol on a Bachelors level course OR if you already
have an MA/MSc and want to enrol on another taught Masters level course.
